Mediterranean Nature

Ochre, earthy colours and blues, are colours that define the Mediterranean spirit. Yellows and greens pay homage to an extensive and intense natural landscape, both natural and sophisticated. Whilst the sun, the eternal sun, the eternal king that presides over the mythology of every square inch of ground, that warms up the water of a blue dream, as old as the world. The sea understood as a metaphor of all the seas. Always the same, but always different. Tradition and nature turn the Costa Blanca into a paradise for lovers of rural tourism in Spain. Nearly 20 Natural Parks and scores of tourist attractions to plan and make an unforgettable route along the coast, or through the interior of the Valencian community.

Fiestas on the Costa Blanca

Fire, music, light and colour.

In towns and cities throughout the whole of the Costa Blanca and throughout the whole year innumerable fiestas, which stand out for their popular participation, colourfulness and spectacular nature, take place. These are first-rate cultural tourist attractions with such diverse themes as religious, popular or historic subject matters. Amongst the more than a thousand fiestas that are held, those to be particularly recommended are the ones that have been declared of National and International Tourist Interest as a result of their historical tradition, numerous attendance or the far-reaching media coverage amongst other reasons.

Fire, fireworks, music, colour, exhibitions and shows are consubstantial elements of the fiestas of the Costa Blanca which have been organised for years and are to be enjoyed on the streets, for neighbours and visitors alike so that the hospitality and invitation to participate in the festive events turn into a social happening in all the towns and cities.
